With Mother’s Day weekend upon us, we’re prepping for some fun with our moms this weekend and also some relaxing time with just the three of us. Springtime is a busy time for us personally (and with our business) starting with Nick’s birthday, Ava’s birthday, Mother’s Day, then Aleah’s birthday shortly thereafter, so carving out time to just be with each other is important amidst the client work, birthday parties, and spring chores.
Our sugared flower project is quite easy and the perfect way to top Mother’s Day drinks or cupcakes. You can also make these in advance to a spring or summer wedding and store them in a sealed container for several months to garnish cocktails with.
Edible flowers || 1 egg white || 1 tsp. water || granulated sugar
1. whisk one egg white with the water until slightly frothy
