With New Year’s Eve on the horizon, we are looking forward to a festive and beautiful wedding with wonderful clients and some delicious food, wonderful decor and some wintry cocktails! Here is our contribution to your NYE celebration: our Frosty Hot Chocolate, made with International Delight Milk Hot Chocolate. We are embracing the chilly weather and like ours frozen while we curl up by the fire!
Our favorite 3 entertaining tips for a festive New Year’s Eve:
–provide a cozy atmosphere with faux fur blankets, candles galore, and wintry drinks that guests can curl up with by a roaring fire to watch the countdown
-welcome each guest to your soiree with their own New Year’s Eve kit filled with party hats, noisemakers, a notecard where they can write their favorite memories of 2015, and some fun drink stir sticks
-have a wish station where guests can pen their good will wishes for themselves and you and put into a vase to read next New Year’s eve
Bonus – say au revoir and Happy New Year with a take-home goody box with chocolate chip cookies, milk, and snacks for the taxi ride home.
Make our Frosty Hot Chocolate:
1 Quart International Delight Hot Chocolate || 1/2 pound of crushed ice || 1 cup of heavy cream || whipped cream || non pareils or sprinkles
mix all of the liquid ingredients in a blender (minus the whipped cream) and gently blend, leaving a frothy mixture. Pour into tall glasses and top with whipped cream and decorative treats!
