Recently we have been seeing a return to what we consider more classic weddings, with a twist through colors, textures and organic elements. Ones that perhaps have a church ceremony, a large wedding party, all of the trimmings of traditional moments, or a grand cake – all with elements that are fresh and bring new life to traditional settings. We had the pleasure of planning and designing this classic Seattle wedding with upbeat sprinklings of color. From the sapphire tablecloths to the dripping smilax garlands we suspended overhead, to the pretty blue-hued cake, it was a treat to bring to life with our team. One of our favorite elements of the day had to be the large floral escort card wall display that we created, suspending about a dozen frames laden with escort cards and floating floral arrangements to greet guests upon entry. It was logistically challenging to keep the frames from swaying, but the result was so lovely!
