Make It: Stamped Holiday Gift Wrap
Ooh, what a jolly holiday weekend! First we spent the evening with our friends at Ravishing Radish {their food is simply divine} and noshed on wintry Pacific Northwest fare and pomegranate cocktails and mingled with friends, old and new. We spend Friday tooling around Seattle with clients {in the rain!} visiting some funky new spaces for their wedding and chatting about cozy winter wedding ideas. The rest of the weekend was rather festive as we prepped the house with Christmas decor, excitedly cheered the Seahawks onto a win, attended the island Christmas tree lighting with rich drinking chocolate in hand, and Aleah attended a delightfully sweet craft party {crafts and bubbly!} in her mom’s amazing {really – she has crafts and supplies beyond imagination} studio space.
We crafted up goodness for the holidays and every gal created to their hearts’ content. I made several snowy globes with tall trees dusted in snow and adorable woodland creatures, beautiful gift tags with pine cones and moss and this stamped gift wrap. My dad was actually prepping to burn this paper in his workshop so I saved it from the fire. I especially love the crinkled look! We’re big proponents of handmade for the holidays and that shouldn’t stop with gift wrap! You can make festive wrap for little or not cost.
Kraft paper or grocery paper bags | a tree stamp | black ink | colorful markers
Lay our your paper nice and flat and stamp a tree {we prefer blank ink as it stands out nicely} every few inches in varying heights.

Take your markers in a variety of bright colors and, on every few trees, draw a ball atop the tree. That’s it! The result: creative gift wrap your recipient will adore!

I love wrapping in simple brown paper and it is even cuter with the addition of stamps!
We’re so with you, Alicia! We love using paper bags and Kraft paper as you can dress it up in so many ways {and it’s inexpensive}! Thanks for stopping by.
