Make It: Katie’s Cocktail – Cranberry Mint Splash

Hi there! I’m Katie, an event stylist and blogger at Meyers Styles, an entertaining resource featuring hassle-free entertaining tips and innovative ideas to inspire you to style a life you adore! I am thrilled that Aleah and Nick have allowed me to be a part of their team and I am equally thrilled to share one of my favorite holiday cocktail recipes with you!

‘Tis the season for holiday parties to kick into high-gear and it’s always great to find recipes that can be made in advance. With a base of cranberry juice and a splash of bubbly, this festive drink is ideal for holiday entertaining. The best part about this cocktail is that if you choose to make a few servings at once, it can made hours before your big bash and left it in the refrigerator! Once your first guest arrives, set the chilled pitcher on the bar next to a bottle of Champagne or Prosecco and allow guests to play mixologist!

1 part chilled cranberry juice cocktail  |  1/2 part cranberry vodka  |  splash of fresh lime juice  |  chilled Champagne or Prosecco  |  cranberries or fresh mint for garnishes

1. Combine chilled cranberry juice and cranberry vodka in a large pitcher and stir. (You can also use a shaker filled with ice if you’re only making one serving.)

2. Once stirred or shaken, squeeze in a few splashes of fresh lime juice.

3. Chill pitcher in refrigerator as long as needed.

4. Set chilled pitcher on the bar next to a bowl of fresh mint, a bowl of cranberries, and a bottle of Champagne or Prosecco. Allow guests to top cranberry cocktail off with Champagne or Prosecco and any garnish of their choice.
