Breathe in the Season

Take a deep breath. Feel that? That’s the joy of the holiday season you’re breathing in. With just under two weeks until we spend Christmas knee-deep making lefse, laughing with family, sharing in joy and creating new memories, we’re wondering where the season has gone. We’ve enjoyed every single drop and have made everything from applesauce to snow globes, stamped gift wrap and tags, and shared cocktails and thoughts with friends, and taken in sights and sounds of the season….but we still can’t believe it’s nearly here. We suppose that’s what the holidays are about. The magic comes in a flurry of joy and snowflakes and leaves in a heap of that crumpled hand-stamped tree gift wrap we so carefully made. What’s important is what was given; from smiles to warm hugs and thoughtful gifts and memories of a jolly holiday season.

We wait all year to create the above mentioned crafts. To forge new memories and traditions. To spend as much time scuttling across town to visit with friends as much as possible. While we really do spend the holidays pretty stress-less {at least we try}, slowing down is key. So, as we leave you for yet another busy and festive holiday weekend, we wanted to share these holiday words we’ll take to heart, too. Cheers, friends.
