The season for creating is upon us! Over the Thanksgiving holiday we so enjoyed being home with family and creating to our hearts’ content; recipes, projects, cocktails, and so many delightful little things. Excitement has set in that our favorite season is here. We’ll be sharing our creating all month starting with today’s glittering Sugared Cranberry recipe. We adapted this from something we read in Martha Stewart and hope you enjoy! Imagine receiving a sweetly wrapped bag of these as a hostess gift!
8 oz. freshly washed cranberries | 2 cups water | 2 cup sugar | 1 cup baker’s sugar
The next day strain the cranberries from the water and gently toss in baker’s sugar. Dry on parchment paper at room temperature for several hours, until hardened. Serve and enjoy!
…here are these little gems in action atop our family dining table for Thanksgiving. They were a wonderful palete cleanser and treat! Here’s a peek into our intimate family Thanksgiving on the island. It was wonderful delightful and everyone had their own dish to make. The result was quite the feast! The next day we welcomed about 40 or so family over for Aleah’s grandma’s birthday, so needless to say the rest of the weekend was spent taking it easy and basking in the pages of holiday magazines and projects…..
This post-dinner course was so spectacular. Aleah’s mom has a knack for all things splendid and she whipped up this light and refreshing citrus, shaved fennel, red onion, pistachio, and lemon mint salad. We’re still thinking about it!
