Make It: Apple Harvest Cocktail
Harvest season is here and we’re thrilled about chillier days and getting to finally cozy up for the season! This weekend we’ll be picking apples galore {a favorite in Washington} and whipping up batches of homemade apple sauce. So what better to pair with a weekend of fall festivities than an autumn-inspired cocktail?
3 oz. warm apple cider | 1 oz. good whiskey | 1 cinnamon stick | 1 star anise | 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup – yields 1 cocktail
Heat the apple cider and maple syrup in a sauce pan over low heat. Add cinnamon stick{s} and star anise and heat for a minute. Pour into a heat-proof glass and add whiskey.
Cheers!
