As Halloween hauntingly creeps nearer we’re on the lookout for frightful inspiration and tasty recipes. Halloween to us signified the start of a festive and fun holiday season and we grow excited for what’s to come. In Washington the leaves are turning fiery hues and the rain {finally!} started to fall today….needless to say, cozy and delicious recipes are a must to totally enjoy the fall and Halloween season.

So when Avocados from Mexico invited us to take part in their Pin to Win contest for Halloween and we jumped at the chance to take part in the fun! Their Halloween recipes are scrumptious and delightful and excellent party fare. We’ve pinned a number of favorites as well as some of our entertaining tips for making Halloween especially ghoulish and tasty.

Our go-to Halloween entertaining repertoire involves creepy spider webs, harvest-inspired decorations {like galvanized tubs filled with floating apples, sunflowers and dahlias}, spooky cocktails and a make-your-own cocktail bar. Pair that with delightfully ghoulish avocado recipes and you’ve got the perfect mix!
