Lifestyle: Farmers’ Market Fun

Last week we met up with our talented friends at Limelife Photography to peruse the Ocean Beach Farmers’ Market while they snapped us in action. We love strolling through markets as it’s a wonderful activity that gets us out and about and surrounded by deliciousness, unique people, street performers and all sorts of scrumptious bounty.

When we travel {whether locally or internationally} we make a point to visit the markets as it gives us a glimpse into cultures and traditions. Some of our favorite markets are in Europe, where bakers, cheese mongers, chocolatiers and farmers have been peddling their goods for centuries. Amsterdam has an amazing market in Dam Square where the cheese is just outstanding and the wheels are the size of small cars! Nice, France has and old market that features lavender plucked from the nearby hills {we’ll share photos one day!}, fresh bounty from the Mediterranean and olives for miles.

Too cute, right? This particular llama kept eyeing us so we kept our distance, but his face was too sweet to resist petting.

What’s your favorite local market or market find? We’d love to hear a story!
