Finishing Touches: Fruits & Veggies
Finishing touches are all the rage when we plot our events. Whether it’s a sweet bloom floating in a julep cup, a delicious treat atop a plate or little handmade elements, finishing touches make a world of difference to polish the details of an event. We styled our fall piece for SD Magazine and accompanying fall mini shoots and focused on elements that appeared to be plucked from the garden.
As we approach harvest season why not use bits and pieces of fruits and veggies for your finishing touches? We’ve got fall ideas swirling about for one special dinner in a field party we’re planning {we can’t wait to share!} and will be adorning napkins with Kraft paper menus and an herb sprig. Simple and oh-so lovely.
When snipped cleanly carrot greens add a pop of color and that from-the-garden feeling.
Figs set atop a clean napkin cinched with a rustic ribbon do the trick, right?
Not only do cinnamon sticks add a cozy ambiance, they make for a lovely take-home favor. Simply tie them up in a bundle!
