Market-Inspired Summer Place Setting

Ah, the simplicity of summer. We’re big fans of summertime entertaining while maximizing the fun factor for ourselves and our guests, which means getting creative with the look and feel of our parties and dinners. Keeping it simple is key. Savoring those moments and memories that make summer so sweet is often made possible by keeping things effortless.

For an effortless summer dinner we brought out some pantry standards: sprigs of rosemary, vintage French scalloped ceramic plates, radishes and bistro glasses. To top it all off we like to use striped or plaid tea towels as napkins. They’re decorative and nice and large, perfect for messy summer barbecue!

Bundles of rosemary can serve so many purposes. We keep them on hand to dress up a glass of lemonade, a loaf of rustic bread as a hostess gift and atop place settings.

Use vegetables plucked fresh from your garden or the market as a centerpiece. It’s not only a sweet and creative idea but you can enjoy them later!

Charming and so simple, right?
