Inspired Entertaining: Natural Elements

Happy Friday! What sort of inspired plans do you have for the weekend? As if you need an excuse to celebrate and entertain this beautiful summer weekend….throw an impromptu with on-hand elements you have in your pantry like nuts {jazz them up by brushing with egg whites, sprinkling with cayenne pepper and baking for 20 minutes at 350 degrees}, bread and cheeses and bubbly.

Spruce up trays and your table by using leaves as coasters as place mats. It’s a beautiful way to tie in Mother Nature and the quickly transform your look. For our July entertaining spread in San Diego Magazine we used big hydrangea leaves from our yard to anchor our champagne tray and to add some lush green to our vibrant color story. {We’ll share the full spread next week!}
