Make It: Affogato
Happy Wednesday! In honor of today being smack-dab in the middle of the week {and just because} we’re sharing a sweet treat to perk up your week. Affogato.
What is this foreign treat, you ask? It’s a delicious Italian dessert made with espresso and ice cream. We like to make ours a little extra special so we drizzle caramel. This is the perfect dessert for a dinner party; serve your guests dessert and coffee all in one. Serve up this dessert table-side European dessert cart-style and your guests will eat it up!
You’ll need: espresso {freshly brewed} | vanilla bean ice cream | caramel sauce
Scoop the ice cream into a bistro glass or coffee mug and top with espresso – about 1/2 way up the glass. Drizzle with hot caramel sauce.
