Make It: Strawberry Nectar
Yahoo! So far so good this week on the doing it front, though we’re still struggling with a few to do items that keep making their way to the bottom of the list. Sometimes it feels like we take ten leaps forward and several back when we’re talking about projects, pitching, blogging, and keeping it all in order. Not to mention, balancing life and staying in a flow with our daily client work and event planning. One of our downfalls is that we really really love what we do. Immensely. Often times it’s impossible {okay, that’s not true – anything is possible} to shut down and breathe. Below we’re sharing a handful of those things we’re still working on maintaining this week…
So today’s sweetness is for those of you who feel like us this week. You’re super excited about what’s in the works. The week is rolling smoothly and seemingly wonderfully. But you’re looking forward to something wonderful and cheerful. It’s a simple pleasure. After all, that’s what makes life sweet.
Strawberry juice isn’t something you hear about or see too often. It’s more of a nectar that you can pull from this sweet plump fruit. Strawberries are one of those rather unassuming delights. Most often you see them jazzed up by being dipped in chocolate or covered in whip cream. But we love them in their purest as a fresh juice, or nectar.
Making this nectar is relatively easy – take about 6-8 strawberries {to yield one glass} and place in a blender. Add about 1/3 of a cup water {we prefer sparkling water for this} and a pinch of sugar. Blend until the liquid is smooth.
It’s perfect for a morning breakfast juice or {how can we omit this?} as a cocktail base. Add simple syrup and some light rum or vodka and you’ve got fruity bliss in a glass.

So. That list we talked about sharing. Here is is. The week’s To Dos we’re pushing.
1. Laughing. Completely. This is pretty easy for us to do continually, but it’s a reminder to not take ourselves too seriously. We all need that.
2. Writing. We’ve got a list of thank you notes to pen from our event last weekend.
3. Challenging. We’re challenging ourselves to tackle two very important items on our wish list {our goal list}.
4. Planting. We’re still working ideas for our midnight garden - you know, the garden we’ve been talking about that will glimmer and shine in the moonlight?
Well, friends, what’s on your Must-Do or How-To list this week? We’d love if you shared your top challenge you’ve been battling with this week in a comment.

I love this idea- in our household one of our fave fruits are strawberries, but I hadn’t thought of them except for eating. This is a great idea. Love the glasses too by the way!
In our household one of our favourite fruits are blueberries, I was thinking at this idea with the glasses to be honest but never got the chance to try it out though.
