Make It: Confetti!
Confetti is one of those things that brings out the kid in us all. It makes birthday parties sweeter. Wedding ceremonies whimsical. Love letters and birthday cards fun. The beauty about confetti is that you can make it yourself and put a sweet stamp on it and personalize it no matter the occasion. Confetti is as cute as striped candles on that perfect frosted cupake or bright pink peonies in a centerpiece for a birthday girl. Why not make your own for the next family birthday party you host or a dinner party for a fun holiday like St. Patrick’s Day?
You’ll need: a circular punch | colored and patterned scrapbooking paper from the craft store {about $.50 per sheet} | scissors
Cut your paper into smaller squares to make for easy punching and less paper waste.
Punch out the paper with the circular punch.
…and it’s really as easy as that. It’s one of those little touches that one doesn’t usually think of making but when you do it’s a welcomed special touch.
Darling, right?

It’s all about the personal finishing touches. Do you have a go-to personalized touch you add to celebrations?

I love confetti! It gives such a festive feel to everything! Glitter is my favourite little extra bit I like to add to everything–just ask poor husband who finds it EVERYWHERE!:)
I like how big those are. Seems like it is the perfect marriage between fun and easy pick up!
So true, Marie! Glad you enjoyed!
