DIY: Gift Wrapped Book Ends
Transforming your home for the holidays, for new seasons, and for special celebrations is important. It brings a sense of freshness and energy, no matter how small or large the transformation. We live in and enjoy our homes, entertain in them, and bask in gorgeous designs, a beautiful piece of framed artwork, or handmade pieces. During the holidays we deck out our home with handmade items, sentimental Christmas ornaments, ceramic village pieces, pine cones from our other home of the Pacific Northwest, and all sorts of trimmings. It brings a sense of warmth and joy when we lug out box after box and reminds us to slow down to enjoy the season. Perhaps one of the simplest ways to change a book shelf or coffee table top is by splashing a funky plaid pattern, a cabin scene, or a cutesy print across the space.
