On-a-Whim Cheese Board

Happy Monday, friends! Welcome to the new Lifestyle Blog! Go ahead and peek around! We’d love for you to explore our recipe box and categories: you’ll find our favorite holiday entertaining ideas, DIY projects, cocktail recipes, and much more in an easy-to-peruse fashion. What’s even better: we’ve poured our entertaining panache into each post and idea just for you. Our original recipes have been taste tested and have our stamp of approval! We’d love to hear what you think about our little makeover!

So what are your plans for the day? Surely many of you are busily prepping your homes for Thanksgiving polishing your best silverware, pressing linens, and fine-tuning your delicious menu before guests descend on your home.

Before you set your household into a frenzy of scurrying for nibbles to tide over incoming weekend guests look to your pantry. Get creative and set out a decadent cheese board with Kraft paper or paper grocery store bags {just pick up a few on your next trip and keep on hand for this occasion or for holiday gift wrap} and write out cheese names with swirling handwriting to add a personal touch. Open up some Prosecco or sparkling water and just like that you have an instant party when your guests arrived.

For our on-a-whim board we set out chives, candied walnuts {stay tuned for our recipe}, a Cotswold Double Gloucester, Herbed Goat Cheese, Smoked Mozzarella, Chive Goat Cheese Rounds, and Sea Salt Grissini. The result: a delicious board that looks like it took much longer to curate than it did!

What will you be doing this Thanksgiving? Are you opening up your home to family or friends?
