Hostess Gifts: Olives and Provencal Cloth
It’s that time of the year: we welcome unexpected visits from neighbors, friends, and family stopping by to wish us a warm holiday or to share a bottle of wine. Be ready with tasty from-the-pantry items anyone will enjoy and keep on hand if you are that unexpected guest. Hostess gifts that are delicious and sweetly wrapped are thoughtful and that much more enjoyable than store-bought flowers or other impromptu grocery store gifts. On our travels we often pick up beautiful napkins {like these from the South of France} just for this very occasion.
You’ll need: Olives in a glass jar | Provencal linen napkin {or a beautiful patterned dish towel} | Twine
Simply place the jar in the middle of the fabric and pull up two ends {opposite ends} at a time. Secure tightly with a twine and you’re ready to give the gift of deliciousness!
