DIY Snow Globe Ornament
How was your Halloween? Was it spooky and creepy and filled with witch and goblin sightings?
Okay, it’s November 1st and we’re diving right into holiday entertaining and party ideas! Our snow globe ornaments are the perfect winter wedding favor or hostess gift. You can also welcome your guests to their place setting with a sweet snow globe take-home gift!
You’ll need: empty glass ornaments | hot glue | festive baker’s twine | fine grade glitter | scissors
Take an empty ornament and remove the metal top {pick up a 6-pack at Michael’s or any craft store}. Spoon glitter into the ornament {with a teaspoon} about 1/3 of the way.
Place the top back on and cut twine into a 6″ piece. Dab a bead of hot glue on the side of the metal top and secure the end of the twine in place.
Wrap twine around and around the cap {securing tightly} and securing with another bead of glue. Cut an 8″ piece of twine and make a loop around the top of the cap to hang the ornament.
Here it is! Quite whimsical, isn’t it?
