Cocktail Time: Classic Irish Coffee
Happy Fall, friends! What are you doing this weekend? We’ll be doing some fall cleaning and organizing as we have an event-free weekend and enjoying a beach bike ride on our cruisers. Dinner at Tower 23 might also be in order, as is making some serious headway through this growing stack of glossies on our coffee table!
What better way to kick off the crisp season with a piping hot glass of Irish coffee? Grab a big book, a cozy throw, and kick up your feet and sip away!
Ingredients
1 cup freshly brewed hot coffee | 1 tablespoon brown sugar | 1 jigger Irish whiskey (1 1/2 ounces or 3 tablespoons) | Heavy cream, slightly whipped
Directions
Fill footed mug or a mug with hot water to preheat it, then empty. Pour piping hot coffee into warmed glass until it is about 3/4 full. Add the brown sugar and stir until completely dissolved. Blend in Irish whiskey. Top with a collar of the whipped heavy cream by pouring gently over back of spoon. Serve hot. *you can also rim the glass with melted caramel.
Happy weekend and happy Autumn!

oh this is so sinful…which means I'll be trying it asap. This would be such a great alternative to a girls night dessert!
YUM, I want one now!!
