Summer Fun
We’ve spent the last {almost} two weeks back home in Washington State for two special weddings and we loved every bit of it, though it’s wonderful to start off this week and a new month back home in San Diego. The time in between our two weddings was packed with our new Associate Planner Olivia {you’ll meet her soon!}, amazing client meetings, brainstorming, getting to know new clients, and site visits. However, we squeaked out some fun at Aleah’s parents’ island in true Northwest fashion. Here are some snapshots from our trip:
Most Washingtonians have a love/hate relationship with the ferry system. Aleah just loves riding the ferry {Nick, not so much!} as it brings back great childhood memories and also means she’s a step closer to her family home! However, waiting in hours-long lines is no fun! Luckily we breezed on and off without too much of a wait.
Ah…the scooters. Aleah’s parents have some really fun island scooters so we zipped on down to the beach for some fun!
We’ve been dreaming about S’mores for months! It was worth the wait; these ones were perfect!
Although some of the days were cloudy, the view from Aleah’s parents’ home is breathtaking.
…and peonies! For Lauren and Bryan’s Port Townsend wedding we managed to score the last of the peonies for the season. The result was a positively beautiful bride’s bouquet and coordinating bunches for the bridesmaids.
Have you visited the Pacific Northwest! What’s your favorite thing to do there? What were you up to this past weekend?
