Entertaining at Home: Infused Water

Happy Friday! We hope you had a fantastic week and are getting out there to enjoy the last bits of summer. We’ve had a super week and are off today to the Best of San Diego Magazine bash – we collaborated on the Exquisite Weddings Magazine lounge with their team and can’t wait to celebrate! It’s quite the bash!
Whenever we talk or think about parties our minds always go to ways in which we can wow guests but also keep them comfortable. One of the simplest ways to do this, whether it’s at a dinner party in your home or a several-hundred guest wedding, is by tray passing icy cold water infused with cucumbers or lemons. Seriously simple, we know as guests there’s nothing worse than getting parched and only having alcohol to drink. Keep the water flowing all day and night to ensure your guests are well-hydrated and happy.
To make a pitcher or cucumber or lemon-infused water, slice half of a cucumber into thin slices and place in a large pitcher of water topped with crushed ice. Leave in the refrigerator for several hours. Do the same thing with a lemon, except for use the entire lemon. You can also use oranges, strawberries {just strain before serving}, or rosemary sprigs.
Do you have a simple entertaining tip you’d love to share?
