Garden Party: French Country Chic
Summer is officially just days away and we can’t wait! We are excited to share a few simple entertaining al fresco tips and photos from our French Country Chic shoot a few months back.
Even the most basic everyday items can be dressed up and impress your guests. Take glass sparkling lemonade or water bottles and remove the label. Hot glue one end of twine to the back and wrap around the bottle tightly several times. Cinch and secure with a hot wax seal in a monogram and voilà! What fun!
It’s easy to go overboard with prepping your bar for summer parties. While a well-stocked home bar is a must for easy entertaining, go simple with your al fresco party and offer non-alcoholic drinks and beer, wine, and one signature light drink.
Here is our hand-crafted Rue de Richelieu
1/2 ounce creme de cassis {blackberry liquor} | 3 ounces vermouth | Pour into a 10 ounce glass over ice and top with lemon Perrier and stir. Enjoy!
Finally, add a pop of interest with something fun and whimsical like striped napkins. Available from a local rental house, something unexpected will pull your table together. Use vibrant plates and colors to welcome summer.
