Cocktail Time: Classic Pina Colada
Ah…
Yes, we’re still on our Hawaii kick and are daydreaming about being back in the warm tropicals water sipping piña coladas. Short of hopping a plane to head back to Maui right now, we’ll be keeping this tried and true recipe close for a tiki party this summer. After many a tropical vacation and taste testing, Nick developed his perfect version and it’s delicious! His golden piña colada rule: never, ever use piña colada mix. Ever!
Nick’s Favorite Piña Colada {serves 4}
8 oz. Coco Lopez cream of coconut | 6 oz. light rum | 8 oz. pineapple juice {fresh is best} | 4 cups crushed ice
Pour ingredients into a blender and blend until creamy and smooth. If it’s runny add more ice. Garnish with a paper umbrella and a Marischino cherry and enjoy!
